Butterflies in the Park 2014
What a fantastic day! We had fun and raised lupus awareness!
Our annual walk and fundraiser, Butterflies in the Park – a Walk for Lupus Awareness was held on Sunday, June 8th. Butterflies in the Park is the Molly’s Fund Fighting Lupus 3K walk for lupus awareness. We are so proud to say that we raised over $45, 000 through this walk that will go directly to our efforts to inform the public and the medical community about lupus, support our client assistance program, push for earlier, life-saving diagnoses for those afflicted, and to spur governments and foundations to fund research toward a cure.
Over 400 people joined Molly’s Fund Fighting Lupus for a fun day of walking, talking and helping to raise awareness about the devastating disease of lupus. This fun walk around the beautiful Oaks Park area and the Willamette River was a great way for family & friends to spend time together and support one another. Butterflies in the Park 3K walk festivities began and ended within the Historic Dance Pavilion building located just inside Oaks Park.
